The Wolf Link & Midna figure was first revealed on a Nintendo Direct on November 12th, 2015. It was released on March 4th, 2016 packaged with The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD and in a stand-alone pack.

Compatiblity[]

Functionality[]

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD[]

On the title screen the figure can be used to quick load the save file associated to the figure. In the new bonus dungeon, the figure will record Link's health when he clears the dungeon.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild[]

The figure bridges Twilight Princess and Breath of the Wild, by taking Link's special dungeon clearing health and spawning an AI-controlled Wolf Link (without Midna) in Breath of the Wild using that as it's max health. So if a player cleared the dungeon with max health, they would have a very powerful companion in Breath of the Wild.

Other games[]

Super Mario Maker
Unlocks a transformation mushroom.
Hyrule Warriors
Draws a random weapon for Midna once a day.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf + Welcome amiibo[]

Invites a villager named Wolf Link to the camping site, unlocks The Legend Of Zelda based Furniture, and has the appearance of Wolf link.

Description[]

Wolf Link is the legendary twilight beast form of the hero Link. He first appeared in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess game, where he worked with the mysterious and mischievous imp Midna to take down a usurper to the throne, and to save Hyrule and the Twilight Realm from darkness.
