Pac-Man is a franchise created by Namco that revolutionized the arcades and changed the way we play games. The series stars Pac-Man, a power pellet-eating, ghost chasing hero who's one of the oldest & most recognizable characters up against Mario. There has been many sequels and spin-offs since the release of the first game in 1980, and has been in many parts of the media, from songs to videos.
