Link is a Hylian with pointy ears, long blond hair, and blue eyes. He wears a green pointy hat and a green tunic attached by two brown belts, one horizontal and the other diagonal, both with a gold buckle. He has brown boots with white pants, brown gloves and blue earrings. Under his tunic, there is a white shirt and chainmail. In his left hand, he holds the Master Sword, and on his wrist lies a brown and blue protector. In his right hand is the Hylian Shield and on his back lies a scabbard. His pose is identical to his official artwork. He has his left leg bent and his right stretched like he is landing.
Link is the main character in The Legend of Zelda games. A young boy living in Hyrule, Link is often given the task of rescuing Princess Zelda and Hyrule from the Gerudo thief Ganondorf. Humble to the end, Link is known not merely as a hero but as a symbol of courage, strength and wisdom as well.
- Pictures of the Link amiibo from the original amiibo announcement feature Link with a clear, plastic stand. The actual figure sold included a thicker, yellow translucent stand.
- With the exception of the two Super Smash Bros. games, games that are compatible with Link's amiibo can use Toon Link's amiibo for the exact same function.
- Link is currently the highest selling Amiibo in U.S + Canada, Japan, and Europe, and 3rd in Australia.
