The Green Yarn Yoshi figure is a character figure available in the Yoshi's Woolly World collection of amiibo figures. It was released on October 16, 2015 in North America, alongside the game.
It can be bought in a bundle that comes with this figure and the game, or separately as of November 13, 2015.

The Green Yarn Yoshi unlocks the same things a normal Yoshi amiibo would unlock in other games. Therefore, it will be compatible with the same games the normal Yoshi figure is.
Green Yarn Yoshi spawns an ally in Yoshi's Wooly World. This ally mimics the movements of the player and acts the same as if a second player would be playing.

Green Yarn Yoshi is a green dinosaur with a white belly and mouth. It has a red saddle on its back and brown/orange shoes on its feet. It also has orange spikes on its back and big eyes. It is made of yarn instead of plastic like other figures.
