Duck Hunt or "'Duck Hunt Duo'" in PAL Regions, is an unlockable character in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. The character was originally pointed out by a hacker exploring the in game files of Super Smash, and the figure has been officially announced on June 14, 2015. In North America, it was released in a Retro 3-Pack along side R.O.B. and Mr. Game & Watch that was exclusive to GameStop (US) and EB Games (CAN).

These two were the stars of the NES launch title Duck Hunt, way back in 1985. This goofy dog would chase down any ducks hit by the Zapper™ accessory, but wasn’t shy about laughing at missed shots. In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, these two work as a team to fight. Quack! Bark? Both!
