Compatibility[]
The Super Smash Bros. series Dr. Mario amiibo figure is supported in games which are compatible with all amiibo. However, only the games listed here have functionality specific to this amiibo. As Dr. Mario is a variant of Mario, most games that don't support the Dr. Mario character will recognise this amiibo as a Mario amiibo, except for One Piece Super Grand Battle X!, where this amiibo won't be recognised at all.

Dr. Mario is similar to Mario, other than his attire. Instead of a red hat, he is wearing a head mirror. Rather than dungarees, Dr. Mario wears a white lab coat with a stethoscope around his neck.
Description[]
In the 1990 Dr. Mario™ game, Mario™ threw on a white coat and decided to take a shot at that whole "medicine" thing. Dr. Mario destroys killer viruses with his amazing vitamin capsules and spends day and night in his laboratory working on new miracle cures. Somehow he's managed to keep up with all the new viruses that have arisen over the years.
