Daruk is an amiibo available in the fourth wave of The Legend of Zelda series and the second wave of figures for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It represents a major supporting character from Breath of the Wild- the deceased Goron Champion who once commanded one of the four Divine Beasts to combat Calamity Ganon alongside Link and Princess Zelda. It was made available on November 10, 2017- releasing ahead of Breath of the Wild's final major DLC expansion- The Champions Ballad.

This figure is also available in a 4-Pack alongside Mipha, Urbosa, and Revali.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Read-only[]

When this Amiibo is scanned while using the Amiibo Rune in-game, a chest drops from the sky alongside several common ores. The contents of the chest is randomly chosen from a pool of Goron-themed loot including a variety of Stone Smasher hammers. The primary random drop is the Vah Rudania Divine Helm, a piece of armor inspired by Daruk's Divine Beast, Vah Rudania. The helmet grants resistance against fire and Guardians and has an upgradable set proficency with the Ancient Cuirass and Ancient Greaves, as well as with Daruk's chosen weapon- the Boulder Breaker.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Read-only[]

Unlocks a Daruk spirit for the World of Light and Spirit game modes. Daruk is a 2-star Support spirit that grants any fighter it is attached to an increased weight that makes them harder to knock away. In-game, this effect is represented with glowing energy that surrounds the player.
